If you live around the area - you have to check this one out!! They have a wide variety of pastries, sweet or savory. Amazing matcha and hojicha lattes, as well as specialty coffee (haven’t tried yet). The pastries can be warmed up and all the ones I have tried turned out amazing. They also sell some jams and handmade pottery for a surprisingly good price (a jar of truffle paste is 12$, and truffle is usually at least 20 for a very small container). There is plenty of seating and the interior is very neat. This place makes winter less harsh!
From the moment you walk into D’avant Coffee, you can feel the passion behind every detail — from the modern, cozy design to the incredible aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Their coffee is top-tier — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I especially recommend their coffee selections, I had the latte and it was really good and which is crafted beautifully every time. The pastries and small bites pair perfectly, and it’s the kind of place where you actually want to slow down and savor the moment. Whether you’re meeting a friend, working remotely, or just treating yourself, D’avant Coffee is easily one of the best coffee spots around. Highly recommended!
Hubby and I came here on a Friday night to check this lovely little spot out on a whim. We were delightfully surprised. Very clean. Great customer service given by Daniel. I’m glad we came later because while there were patrons when we arrived, we eventually got to appreciate the place like we had it to ourselves. We liked the music and layout of the place. And while there are other locations, we like that each location has slightly different offerings and we especially like that this opened in Edgewater because Edgewater needed it. Sorry, Paris. The cinnamon sugar croissant roll. WHAT! Get you some (there’s chubby and mini sized, we went for the bigger one). Light and airy. The outside is dusted in cinnamon sugar and the inside is like croissant heaven in a bite. We agree with the other reviewers that the baguette IS definitely good. The butter roll with salt is tasty. The snow cheese bread is also good but would be killer warmed. Actually, bring some home and eat it with… dare I say it…pasta!!! Fo sho get some FOcaccia!!! We got the everything version and it sure was tasty and pillowy and had the right chewiness. Loved it. The Hollabang tea (mandarin citrus honey tea) was good both hot and as a refreshing ade (iced and sparkling). There’s parking so there’s no excuse to not check it out. We will be back! Funny, we got our goodies to go (everything was packed nicely) and ended up sitting/hanging out for a little nibble on the stuff we got to snack on and that we THOUGHT we were gonna have with the little breakfast we were going to make the next morning! Ha! My husband went back for another tray of goodies to replace what we noshed! Yes, it’s really good. No bloat afterwards. Fresh!!!!! And also dangerous. Dangerously good, that is!
This one is so much spacious than other D'avant. I love the seating area and their cheese cakes, pastries. It is a perfect spot to sit down and enjoy coffee.
I liked the relaxing atmosphere with roomy space. Their tea collection and dessert cakes were amazing. Parking was easy to find around Friday dinner time.
It was really spacious, the employees looked professional and kind. Knew about the menu items and answered all my questions since I was newcomer. Came with my friend we both love exploring new cafes around and far from the area! Loved how easy it was to grab the pastry. The price and the given portions reasonable.
Traveling to France next month. Ordered a chocolate croissant and espresso with milk to get a taste of what to expect. Did not disappoint. Croissant full of chocolate. Espresso is something I’m not used to, but enjoyed it.
Great cakes! Fresh blueberry cake, very light and fluffy! Perfect for team b-day celebrations, they provide knife, candles and matches so you're all set for your event.
Wide variety of bread and pastry options, green tea, and cake. There’s good amount of indoor seating with natural light and plenty of parking space. Staff was neither friendly or rude despite visiting during slow time. Overall, enjoyed the selection and bakery we got tastes good.
D’avant not only knows their coffee, but their pastries are to-die-for. Sweet tooth’s rejoice! Make sure to slowly peel apart each layer of the Cloud 9 puff. D’avant has a selection of pour over coffee to choose from, with helpful guides communicating their acidity, roast, and sweetness. Plenty of seating in their open concept layout.
